Levin expresses a provocative point of view towards social norms, stereotypes and traditional social values. In her works, she explores the realms of fantasy and reality, seduction and
suppression, loyalty and betrayal, love and relationships, sexuality and desire, childhood and aging. These concerns are explored and conveyed with sharp wit and humor, using a range
of ready-made materials. Levin also uses words; she calls into question commonly used phrases, employing double meanings, thus highlighting the power of language. |
